These are my current wedding prices.  I have wondered however if there are any products that I should add.  If there is something that you do not see but want for your wedding just feel free to ask and I will work out a price for it and see about adding it to my product list.

Brandon & Nikki’s Wedding by Tammy Goodwin

The first wedding of the season was for my niece, Nikki.  It was held in Sedalia, MO. on March 28, 2009.  As a favor, and wedding gift, I shot the wedding for free.  Below are only a few of the photos I took.  To see a slide show of pretty much all of the other photos (this will be long and done for the bride and groom’s viewing purposes) click this link.

Midnight Sun

Since I finished school in December, graduating with a bachelor’s degree, I have found a lot of idle time on my hands.  A friend suggested that I read the “Twilight” series.  I took her up on the advice and finished all four books in a week.  I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed reading them.  “Eclipse” was my favorite.  My friend then told me about a fifth book that was available in PDF form on the Internet.  I did a Google search.  The first site I found had a statement by the author, Stephenie Meyer.  She was very upset that her rough draft of “Midnight Sun”, a retelling of the first book through Edwards perspective, had made its way on-line without her permission.  She explained the misuse of copyright law and was so angered by it being on-line that she has decided not to finish or publish the book.  Being a photographer I can certainly understand her frustration with violation of her copyright.  At first I decided not to read the PDF in respect of her wishes.  I looked at more information about the rough draft on the Internet.  There are some sites that have made a petition urging Stephenie Meyer to please finish and publish the book.  I signed one of them.  Still respecting her wishes that people not read the PDF.  However, some time passed and I kept thinking about the characters in the book.  I thought, “how cool that she would write the same story with a different point of view.”  When my friend finally asked if I had read the PDF yet, I explained my reservations.  One day, while the kids were at school, and I couldn’t bring myself to do the housework, I broke down and decided to read the on-line copy.  At first I felt guilty about it, but it is really good.  How much better it would be if Stephenie Meyer would finish and publish the book.  The PDF ended right before one of my favorite chapters from “Twilight.”  What a disappointment not to be able to read about Bella and Edwards time alone together in the forest clearing from Edwards thoughts.  Then it occurred to me; was this not the best publicity for this book that any author could hope for?  Sure, she is upset about the rough draft making its way on-line without her permission, but the silver lining is that what she has unfinished has made me even more interested in reading the rest of the book.

If by some miracle Stephenie Meyer would find this blog and read it I would like her to consider the positives from this unpleasent situation.  She is a very talented author with an amazing imagination.  I envy the ability to create such intriqueing characters.  Please finish the book.  Make it what you intended it to be when your trust was broken.  Put the hurt and disapointment behind you.  Your fans do not want to upset you by reading the PDF.  They are just so engrossed in the story of the world and the characters that you have created that they cannot resist another look.

Think about it.

Christmas Program/Tammy Goodwin

My little girl was in a Christmas program at her church last night.  She was an angel.  I wasn’t able to see her during the entire show because I sat on the wrong side of the audience.  Afterwords I tried to get her picture, there were so many people walking around I only got a couple of her in her costume.  Sorry about the softness, I was a bit rushed.

She was supposed to be on stage with these angles.  She ended up on the stairs where I could not see her.

I don’t know whos kid this was, but he was really funny.  He kept making power stances like this one throughout the story of Jesus.  I think he was supposed to be a sheep or other animal, only he didn’t have his whole costume on.

If Leia grows up to be an actress I would be embarrised to say I missed her debut performance as an angel in the Christmas nativity.  Oh well, I always knew she was an angel, even though she throws the occasional tantrum.

Wedding & Location/Design Composits/Tammy Goodwin

This assignment was to make 10X20 composites using our photos and designing them in an appealing way.  I chose these images so that I could create prints for my friends to give as christmas presents.
